Do you ever wonder how people are able to build a massive email list? You’ve heard it before, no doubt: The Money is in the List. That’s all fine and dandy, but if you don’t know how to build a list, it means crap.

I want to tell you about a free way you can build your list fast, and something that not many marketers know about. It’s called Giveaway Events. In this post, you will find out what a Giveaway Event is, how it works, and you will also be able to find out about the upcoming launches so you can start building your own massive double opt-in list.

A Giveaway Event works like this:

1.) You first sign up for the giveaway event for free as a contributor.

2.) Next, you add your free gift (the one from your squeeze page).

3.) The people who have joined the giveaway event as a member then browse the free gifts and sign up for ones they are interested in.

4.) Your opt-in list is built 3 times as fast as the normal promotion methods.

Some giveaway events are not as successful as others, but there have been times contributors have gained a subscriber list of 500 people or more just from the event.

Your gift will be shown more the more points you have. You get points by either upgrading (optional), or promoting the event. The more people you get signed up to join the event (either as a contributor or a member) the more points you get, thus the more times your gift will be seen (which of course goes without saying, the more opt-ins you will acquire.)
